Rajasthan MSM and Hijra HIV Response Strategy Development

Situational Analysis and Strategies to Upscale an Evidence-Based HIV Response in Relation to MSM, Hijra and Other Transgender Populations in Rajasthan (2007)

Funded by Oxfam Trust, New Delhi and European Union

This project provided technical assistance to Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society (RSACS), Jaipur for developing an HIV response strategy for MSM, Hijra and other male-to-female transgender populations in Rajasthan. The project included a situational analysis and a consultative process with civil society and government stakeholders, and was undertaken as a joint effort by Oxfam Trust and SAATHII on behalf of RSACS from end May to August 2007. Final data analysis and report writing was undertaken in September and October 2007. The final report can be seen here (file 01, file 02 ). Calcutta and Chennai Offices of SAATHII worked together on this project.
