Health and Nutrition

This link acknowledges the importance of proper medical care and nutrition in slowing the HIV disease progression among HIV infected adults and children. Further, information on good nutrition as complementary and reinforcing factor effecting of any medications is linked. Discussion and technical papers, tools and reports on appropriate diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Opportunistic Infections and other HIV related illnesses, provision of ARV, clinical monitoring, and palliative therapies are elicited. Provide narration on conditions that associate HIV/AIDS affecting food intake, digestion and absorption, other influencing factors affecting the functions of the body. Inform materials on management of conditions such as diarrhea, weight loss, sore mouth and throat, nausea and vomiting are manageable with appropriate nutrition support.
