SAATHII's programs in RMNCH+A seek to expand and improve availability of decentralized care in both public and private sectors. As of 2018, all of our RMNCH+A initiatives are being implemented through the USAID grant Project Sambhuya. Key initiatives include:
Mera Aspataal: A partnership between SAATHII, USAID and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare that leverages Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology to seek patient feedback on their experiences of receiving care and treatment. As of 2018, the project Integrated patient feedback through IVR in 1190 facilities in 28 states: 28.3 million calls made by Mera Aspataal, 2.47 million patients gave feedback: feedback being used for quality assurance at 509 hospitals and 311 hospitals, ranked for funding. Support to Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Yojana , the Prime Minister's Safe Motherhood Scheme. In 2017-2018, SAATHI carried out multi-state evaluation of PMSMA. It also supports Madhya Pradesh in implementation of PMSMA.
AnteNatal Care in Private Tea Garden Hospitals: SAATHII is carrying out quality improvement measures in 27 Assam Tea Garden hospitals, and this will be expanded to 500 facilities in the upcoming year.
